Nicole Marie from Milford, Michigan works as a waitress at the Red Dog Saloon for over 10 years now. Every day is a busy day for Nicole. In fact, it has become her every day routine to be at her best in catering to her customer’s requests until one special day, something really awesome happened.
A group of middle schoolers restored Nicole Marie’s faith in humanity and in the younger generation after they showed her politeness and kindness. It may be a small act for some but today? It’s seldom to see kids do these wonderful gestures.
One Friday night, she went to take the orders of 7 young boys. They asked Nicole politely if they had enough money to cover 40 wings and pops, she said on her Facebook post.
She was confused why there were no adults there and asked the boys about it.
“I looked around confused, wondering where their parents were. I asked if they were alone and they said ‘yes, and we’ve been looking forward to this for weeks,” Nicole said on her Facebook post.
Seems that these boys planned this Friday get together and they were really happy about it.
“They were so excited and were EXTREMELY polite the whole entire time, using please and thank you and trying to make it as easy as possible for me to get their order; they even told me they’d tip well 😂,” she added in her Facebook post.
Aside from being polite that made Nicole smile, she even added that one of the boys even told his friend to get off the phone as she was talking to them – isn’t that the sweetest?
Reality is, nowadays, you don’t expect that from young kids. Most of the kids would be too focused on their gadgets. Who wouldn’t love these kids especially on how they respect the people around them?
No wonder their parents allowed them to have their own get together. They were at their best behavior. Their parents would be so proud of them!
“It was so heartwarming to see how much they were trying, especially when there were no parents around to scold them if they weren’t on their best behavior. They were so good that a neighboring customer ended up picking up their tab and telling them to pay it forward,” Nicole added later said in her post!
In her 10 years of being a waitress, never did something like this happen and it made her smile from her heart.
“I just wanted to give a big props to the parents of these boys- keep doing what you’re doing!!” Nicole ended her post with these words.
Kudos to the parents of these boys who did an amazing job raising them!
Ending her post, she uploaded of a very neat table. This is where the kids ate and they even made sure that they didn’t leave a messy table. They weren’t just kind and polite, they were also very well-mannered.
