Dogs have helped humans in many different ways, and in some cases, as protectors of justice. Many strong and hardworking dogs found their way into the police force. Although their jobs are dangerous, they also have time to dance and be happy.

Sutter County has two of its best protectors.

In Sutter County, California, two forces have been on hand to help protect citizens – Sutter County Sherriff’s Office and the Yuba City Police Department. The Sherriff’s office is located in Yuba City. The two offices are within walking distance away from each other, and whenever there is a major crime in the city, these two forces would partner up to attend to the situation.

They are pretty much in agreement with everything in the city, except for one thing – a parking spot.

This video of theirs will have you laughing all day.

Yuba City Police Department and Sutter County Sheriff’s Office collaborated in making a hilarious video together, following the trend of the Git-Up challenge, a dance craze popularized by Blanco Brown in 2019. In the video, they didn’t start with a dance right away, but instead they started it with a hilarious play between officers from both departments.

The video started with two officers meeting at a certain spot.

A police car and the Sherriff’s vehicle arrived at the same time at the parking lot in front of the Superior Court of California. The moment they saw each other, both went outside their vehicles and started arguing on who should take the only available parking spot in the area.

Both refused to yield to the other, and they decided to take the problem towards their superior officers. After notifying their bosses, the men got up to march back to the scene. They marched the halls with Star War’s Imperial March dramatically playing in the background as if they are going to war.

Their arguments have brought them nowhere, but there is one way to settle it.

Everyone was arguing about who gets to have the spot until someone from the Sutter Court told them to “work it out.” They do have one idea, though, and that is for both offices to settle it with the Git-Up challenge.

The officers from both departments converged as the Blanco Brown’s Git Up started playing. However, you could notice one officer from the Sheriff’s office who brought her dog to the dance. The K9 trained dog started dancing along with his handler and you could see how much he tries to fit in with the rest of the dancers. Although the dog looked so confused with everyone’s dance routines, he could not help but to go along with them by stepping side to side, and even spinning around when everyone did. He certainly was an adorable addition for a very fun dance!

The dog just thought of everyone having fun, and judging by his wagging tail, he was quite enjoying the show himself.

The K9 did his best following every routine, and you could see how much he enjoys it! He knew that everyone was having fun at the moment.

The K9 dog was the real star of that show.

You’d end up focusing on him the whole time, and after the dance finished, you would most likely forget why they did it in the first place. The dog’s adorable dance helped the video rack up over seven million views after the Sutter County community uploaded the clip on YouTube. They ended the video by saying, “One fight. One cause,” a message that no matter what happens, these two will serve their duties as Sutter County’s brave protectors.

Hopefully, the pup got some cuddles and yummy treats after the tiring dance. In fact, he deserves the win no matter what.
