This surprise performance at the World Synchronized Skating Competition will take your breath away
Every year, teams at the WSSC perform gorgeous synchronized routines that leave the audience’s stunned. Even among some of the most talented people in the world, certain teams somehow manage to steal the show.
Back in 2012, it was Team Sweden who put on a brilliant show, full bright colors and beautifully timed moves. Like they’re operating from the same mind, the skaters perfectly mirror each other’s movements.

Whoever styled this team of skaters deserves a raise, the colors perfectly blend together and create a mesmerizing mirage. Although the clothing is magnificent, the real greatness is in their complex skating.
They start off in lines forming a block, swooping around the ice rink until the whole team is skating backward together effortlessly. Then, out of a circle in the middle of the rink, the elegant skaters captivate the audience.
Twirling and balancing on one foot, the team weaves in and out of each other while the crowd goes wild
showcasing their impressive ability, the team from Sweden wow’s the audience with jaw-dropping spins and twists. The synchronicity is impeccable, all as one they go through the show without missing a beat.
It’s hard to comprehend how critical the timing in this routine is. If just one skater misses by even a second, the performance could be ruined.

My favorite part comes around 3:47 in the video when they split into groups of fours and lift one skater in each foursome completely above their heads, as they still glide across the rink. The amount of balance it takes to pull off these tricks is ridiculous, but the talented team does them with no problem.
People watching the performance are going nuts for the surprise routine, and the finale leaves them speechless! After intertwining, crossing, and winding through each other, the team creates a lovely final spectacle.

In beautiful fashion, the ice skaters made a circle in the center of the rink and lifted two teammates in the air. It was clear who was the crowds’ favorite team, the place erupted in cheers for the glamorous skaters.
