Dogs are opinionated animals. They have likes and dislikes and they aren’t afraid to tell their humans what they are. Some breeds are also more vocal than others.
And one of the most famously vocal breeds is the husky.
A video of a howling husky who very much didn’t want to leave the park is the perfect example of this.
There are many times when our dogs remind us of children. This is especially true when we tell them it’s time to leave the park…
Such was the case for this poor husky, who wasn’t quite ready for his time at the doggie park to come to an end.
After hearing his name called multiple times, the husky refused to move from his spot and thought that maybe howling would convince his mom to let him stay.
Unfortunately for him, his cries of protest were no match for his mom, but he sure gave onlookers a good chuckle!
What is even more amusing is that his mom said they frequented the dog park every day.
Clearly, daily trips to the park weren’t enough for this pup—he wanted to stay amongst all the fun for the remainder of his days.
Nonetheless, his rebellious streak earned him a slice of Internet fame, where viewers have enjoyed watching his adorable outburst on YouTube.
The video quickly went viral, gaining over 9 million views. It isn’t hard to see why — the whole thing is adorable and hilarious!

Huskies are a unique breed overall with some traits that set them apart from other dogs.
According to AKC:
The graceful, medium-sized Siberian Husky’s almond-shaped eyes can be either brown or blue and sometimes one of each and convey a keen but amiable and even mischievous expression. Quick and nimble-footed, Siberians are known for their powerful but seemingly effortless gait. Tipping the scales at no more than 60 pounds, they are noticeably smaller and lighter than their burly cousin, the Alaskan Malamute.
AKC also mentions that Huskies need a lot of exercise — and the pup in this video proves that this is very true!
This hilarious husky wasn’t afraid to get loud to show his displeasure at leaving the park, and the result was adorable video that’s easy to watch over and over again.
