If you ask an average dog lover which dog breed has the biggest personality, they will probably guess a Husky. If you ask a Husky owner, they will not doubt confirm! Some breeds have a particularly high emotional intelligence that allows them to โconverseโ easily with humans. It may not always be intelligible but even if you donโt understand it word for word, you still get the message loud and clear.
And maybe for this Husky in particular, loud and clear is an understatement. Ever since baby Lexi came into the family, Angel the Husky has had to speak up a little just to compete for momโs attention. Judging by their sizes, you would think that Angel would overpower the tiny ten-month old, except Lexi is giving this pup the competition right back.

Viewers on this YouTube post comment on their interpretation of the story. There seems to be a conversation going on. Then again, there seems to be an argument going on. Can you tell by the back-and-forth banter that the competitors are keeping each other on their toes? One viewer hilariously likened it to watching a presidential debate.
You will have to judge by your own interpretation what it is that they could possibly be arguing about. Perhaps who gets more of the spotlight when the camera turns on or who gets the last goodnight from mom. Regardless, the outcome is clearly very important to this endearing duo.

Provided that Huskies are properly trained and well looked after, they are extraordinarily good pets in family environments. Even in the event of life-changes like bringing a new baby into the family, Huskies are able to adapt and help meet the needs of the family members, whether an emotional need or a need for physical safety.
Yet Huskies arenโt overly aggressive, either. They are more likely to be friendly and sociable than on alert, even around strangers and other dogs. Around a baby or an otherwise vulnerable person, Huskies seem to understand that when someone is fragile, they must be gentle. That part is not surprising when you see how the social interaction at hand plays out.
Underneath the Huskyโs loud exterior, she is incredibly gentle with baby Lexi.
But that doesnโt mean that a Huskyโs sharp intelligence has only positive outcomes. In fact, the downside to a Huskyโs individuality sometimes takes on the form of, โI do what I want and when I want it.โ And this may be why we see Angel go to combat with baby Lexi. It really is true that Huskies are sometimes described as mouthy and argumentative.
โI think Angel might have had enough,โ mom chuckled.
But itโs all about pack-mentality. A Husky will view itself as part of the pack, just like all of the other members. Truthfully, a Husky should get at least some say in whatโs going on, and who gets to be heard. Husky owners commonly love their pets and appreciate their level of care for their place in the pack. According to this laughable video below, Angel has maintained her place in the pack just fine.
So even with their disagreements, these two are sure to be best friends!
