Dogs are like children – they simply love to play and get messy. And sometimes, as much as they hate the idea of it, a bath is the only way to get them looking clean and smelling fresh again.
It’s pretty common for dogs to not be the biggest fans of bath time. Unlike us humans who actually quite enjoy the feeling of being submerged in warm water, our dogs are often left wondering what the heck is going on. They simply don’t understand why they have to get their fur all wet and soapy, especially when it takes so long for them to dry.

Now, you may be wondering how it’s possible to encourage a dog to actually become a fan of bath time.
Wag Walking suggests using a soft and gentle tone to let your dog know how proud you are of them for taking a bath, as well as bringing in squeaky toys or treats to keep them distracted. The most important thing is to keep them warm, as like us humans, dogs hate the feeling of being cold!
If you’re feeling up to it, you could also try the shower-together method, as your dog may feel more relaxed if you’re taking part in the activity as well.

Of course, no matter what you do to try and make your dog feel more comfortable about the whole shower situation, it’s still pretty likely that they’re going to tell you exactly how they feel about it.
This was certainly the case for one sassy husky pup, who was more than ready to explain to his owner in great detail about why he didn’t want a bath.

The adorable video was shared on YouTube by MY DOGS, and since being posted it has racked up an impressive 7.2 million views. In the sweet clip, two adorable husky pups are sitting on their mom’s knee – and while one seems to be feeling perfectly chilled about the idea of bath time, the other has quite a few objections.

“Do you want to take a bath?” the woman asks. In response, the husky pup barks and whines with an unbelievable amount of sass.
This argument continues for well over a minute, with the puppy remaining adamant that he’s not going to be taking a bath.

“You smell better and you look better if you take a bath,” his owner said.
But the stubborn husky pup just wasn’t having it, and he continued to bark his argument for every point that his owners tried to make. Hilariously, when asked if he wanted to stay where he was, the clever pup responded with a nod and a bark- a clear indication that yes, indeed he does.

The sassy pup received lots of love from the internet, and it wasn’t long before people all over the world were sharing their love for him in the comments section.

“My baby always knew what ‘bath’ meant. She would go hid under the kitchen table and I would have to pull the chairs out, to get her. Miss you Shug,” one commenter shared.
“That Husky made some very valid arguments there, I m gonna side with him this time,” another added.
