One of the most beautiful things about dogs is their ability to love so unconditionally. They’re always game for some cuddles, an adventure, or a cozy snooze as long as they’re at their human’s side.
And if you don’t give them the attention they crave, you can be sure they’ll ask for it.
This adorable Siberian husky, Millie, is no exception.
She is full of love and still has the heart of a puppy. She loves her dear dad so much that she can’t stand for him to have his attention split on anything else – ever.
Her charming neediness was recorded and shared to YouTube by her adoring parents.
I get the feeling this isn’t the first time she’s done this. They were pretty ready with that camera!
Some dogs try to be sneaky about getting the attention they crave. They’ll block the screens of our laptops, slowly raise their heads up to rest on our laps from below the table… but not Millie.
She’s shamelessly demanding attention from her dad!
Minding his own business and trying to watch some TV, her dad is in the mood to relax. Millie sits next to him on the couch, staring loving before politely tapping him on the shoulder. Just in case he forgot that she’s there.
How could he possibly resist that face?
He pats her on the chest, and turns his attention back to the TV with his hand still on her. Hoping to keep her happy, but it’s not enough.
She looks at the TV, confused about what’s so special that could possibly be taking her dad’s attention away from her.
Again, she gives him another little tap on the arm requesting more pets.
He turns around and looks at her apologetically, and gives her a little kiss on her snout.
It’s such a sweet moment that the woman behind the camera lets out an audible giggle and “oooh”.
That’s true love right there.
Millie rests her head on her dad’s lap looking content, but definitely after more affection.
He goes back to watching TV but doesn’t stop rubbing her back. Millie is in Husky-Heaven.
But she’s an experienced attention-grabber, and knows she could get more of the deal if she plays it right.
And she knows exactly what to do – she’s going to use her beautiful voice!
Huskies are famous for being talkers. They often “talk back” to their owners, or try to repeat “I love you”, and it’s precious.
They’re also loyal, amiable, and have a bit of a reputation for being mischievous. I can’t imagine why…
Her dad can’t resist the talking – she’s too cute. Her powers are too strong!
He picks her up and flips her over like a little baby. She stays cradled and showers her dad in kisses.
Millie finally has all her Dad’s attention and is in her happy place.

To be fair, judging by Millie’s Instagram page, her dad doesn’t spend a moment without her by his side. The two are inseparable!
