There comes a time in a woman’s life when they need a new life, a transformation, a makeover, and a change.
They leave their old life behind and create new memories with a brand newfound confidence.
That’s what Monaya wanted, a new beginning.
For over 30 years, she has colored her hair dark brown to cover up her original white hair color. But this time, she wanted to embrace it once again. And she had it done at Christopher Hopkin’s Makeover Guy’s Appearance Studios with her supportive husband present.
Christopher said, “This is love. Monaya had grown out her white hair that she has colored to dark brown for over 30 years. I loved her natural color so this is what happened.”
When the Makeover Guy team asked Monaya what she wanted with her makeover, she said she wanted to “feel fun and more… different.” She added, “It felt kinda blah the past couple of years.”
How did Monaya react?
When the team asked her how she liked her new look, Monaya said, “I love it! It’s a nice change.” She continued, “I finally got rid of that witch hair.”
Her husband was stunned.
When they finally revealed her new look to her husband, he started to tear up and he couldn’t stop smiling. He gushed,
“You look so beautiful.”
He then told the team, “I kinda had this look in mind, to be honest… I think she’s gonna be much more comfortable and it makes her look -”
“Sexy? Come on, say it,” Monaya prodded him.
“You look sexy and sophisticated,” her husband agreed. “I knew he was going to like it,” Monaya said of her husband.
They started to reminisce back to their high school days because apparently, Monaya’s hair was the same length.
“So now we just need a Ramones t-shirt and a short black mini-skirt,” her husband said. Monaya couldn’t help but agree.
Even the viewers loved her new look, as evident with its more than 100k views on YouTube!
