Every animal has its own unique personality, but some are truly one in a million. That’s what one woman discovered, recorded and shared in the precious video below.
After work one day, Sunny Bayne decided to go and say hello to a baby female horse. The happy go-lucky filly immediately showed her playful side, galloping up to the fence to greet her visitor.
Wanting to join in on the fun, Sunny climbed the fence and began playing with the foal.
“I will say, I have been around hundreds of foals but not one quite like this,” Sunny wrote about her encounter.
The young horse proceeds to gently knock Sunny to the ground, all for the purpose of adoringly snuggling on her new friend with her tail wagging.
Sunny uploaded her video to Facebook, where it received a huge 10 million views and 280,000 shares.
All those people got to share in the magic of Sunny and her new filly friend!
I love the way the baby horse just plops on Sunny after she has her on the ground. You can see how truly comfortable she is around Sunny, and the way her tail wags makes me think of the filly as a playful pup.
“This is the best day of my life,” Sunny says in the video as she lies down with the little foal. “Look at it!”
Sunny later learned that the baby horse belongs to Meg Miranda at Glenmore Ponies. According to Sunny, Glenmore Ponies is “one of the oldest and top producing show pony bloodlines”.
Upon learning of her video going viral, Sunny wrote a Facebook update: “I am in awe and complete shock that this video has went viral! I love horses with every fiber of my being. Horses have a way about them that touches my soul. Every now and again horse people come across a horse that places a mark on their heart. This one truly touched my heart and soul.”
She also added, “I could feel her love and curiosity. She walked all over me and I was okay with that because, I mean… look at her. Then we rolled around and played like kids. She melted my heart that day and I believe it’s safe to say that she melted a few million other peoples hearts. She is ONE in a million! Heck lets get crazy and say a billion. Love her little pea pickin heart.”
Thanks to Sunny filming her and this filly horsing around, we got to share in the sweet magic of this special horse too. So cute!
