If there’s one thing that’s for certain, it’s how much people love their pets.

And it’s debated whether it’s dog lovers or cat lovers who are the most obsessive, but I think it breaks about even. There are billions of pet videos on the internet!

If you search “talking dogs” you’ll find the front page of Google covered in funny videos of huskies specifically. They’re famous for their chatter!

They’re not really talking or even trying to communicate human words – no matter what their owners think! But of course any kind of dog noise, whether it be barking, howling, crying, or growling, is a way of communication. They bark less than regular dogs, but certainly howl more.

Those two communications meet somewhere in the middle to “talk”, with some pet trainers having taught their dogs to say things like “I love you”.

It sounds a little more like AUYEEEEEEYEEE HWUUUUUD WOOOOOO… but we’ll count it because it’s so cute.

This loving husky owner filmed a day in the life, taking public transport and going for a coffee with his cheery, chatty Alaskan Malamute, Sherpa.

Sherpa doesn’t have to be on the train for long before greeting all the other commuters with a big, festive “Happy Christmas” (according to his owner, who doubles as a translator).

It gives everyone on the train quite the little shock, but then brings a smile to everyone’s face. Who doesn’t love being greeted by a fluffy dog?!

Then, while exiting the metro station, Sherpa decided the acoustics were just right to offer up a little tune, and sang for everyone in the tunnel.

He sounds lovely, and his half-howl half-song bounces off all the walls as if the tunnel had once been an opera house.

Ps. I would pay to see a singing dog concert.

Next stop is for ice cream! Sherpa knows exactly what he wants and jumps right up to the counter like a regular human. Hands on the counter and everything.

“I order”, he apparently says.

It works like magic, or the lady behind the desk is some kind of dog interpreter/whisperer, because she promptly brings Sherpa one empty double ice cream cone.

He loves it! What a treat.

After ice cream, it’s time for coffee. Sherpa and his human find a dog-friendly cafe where Sherpa is allowed inside. The signs outside reads “Friendly Dogs Welcome”.

He makes a booming entrance, announcing himself with a big howl to tell everyone inside “I love you alllll”. I honestly cannot imagine a better situation while having a coffee at a cafe. This is the dream.

Sherpa spread love and joy around town all day with his human – howling and talking away as huskies do.

The video has already hit 10 million views! And the comment section has had some hilarious notes left by fans of Sherpa and his big spirit.
