Grandmothers have a special way of finding the best ways to make us giggle and spunk up the party. Whether it is our own grandmother or just a random senior woman we cross paths with they always find the time to share some of their wisdom, contagious laughter, and maybe even a piece of candy. They inspire us and remind us what living life carefree is all about. For one old lady at what appears to be a fashion show, when she hears a song that makes her start to move she cannot help but to take over the catwalk and strut her stuff.
Unexpected catwalk takeover by a sweet old lady with dancing feet!
Sometimes a song comes on and you get that feeling in your feet where you just have to dance it out. That is the case when one sweet little old lady heard the song “Blurred Lines” by Robin Thicke come on at a fashion show. So couldn’t help but to get up out of her walker spin it around and decide to show everyone in attendance that she can still get down!
Catch a picture of her if you can.
Everyone’s smiles get bigger and bigger as the elderly woman continues to dance. The photographer has to remain on his toes in order to get the perfect shot because contrary to popular belief this old lady knows how to move with pace and to the beat!
Spin around and pose!
She does a few twirls and continues down the catwalk.
Her moves are simply contagious.
As she moves past the audience she inspires one little girl in the black dress who even gets up out of her chair to start dancing!
Move it or lose it!
She dances and grooves all the way to the end of the catwalk. Spinning, pushing, and pulling her walker away. Showing everyone you are never too old to dance!
Showing dance moves for the ages.
She continues her way back down the catwalk pushing away her walker, twirling around it, and showing us and everyone that is watching new dance moves for the ages. Dance moves we may use when we are her age.
Sometimes you just have to shimmy it out.
She continues to shimmy her way back to the end of the catwalk. Everyone still giggling, smiling, and applauding her.
Time to take a bow!
Then she gives her final wave concluding her performance. Thanking everyone for cheering her on.
Reminding us we are truly never too old to dance.
Our elders are always teaching us in various ways we just need to pay attention and listen and learn when they’re around. This little old lady reminds us just how important it is to move it and groove it when we feel the beat. A truly heartwarming video that reminds us of how important it is to get up dance making not only the ones dancing happy but the ones observing happy as well.
