You may think that your dog is protective. But it’s nothing compared to this adorable golden retriever.

Like many dogs, Bailey the golden retriever has picked his favorite human. And it’s his mom.

In fact, he loves his mom so much, he won’t let anyone else get close to her. Not even her husband.

But the husband keeps on doing the rudest thing: he keeps on attempting to touch his wife.

Naturally, Bailey cannot tolerate such inappropriateness. He always pushes the husband’s hand from his wife’s body. One video shows just how strict Bailey is.

The video begins with Bailey lying next to his mom on the bed. Bailey is in heaven. Then the husband comes along to ruin it all.

The husband sits at the foot of the bed. Bailey looks up at his mom as if to go, “Oh geez, not this guy again.”

As Bailey is looking up at his mom, the husband reaches out. But Bailey’s gaze shoots to the husband.

The husband pulls his hand from his wife’s ankle right away.

Then the husband touches his wife’s foot. Bailey just about tolerates this. But it’s clear from the dog’s expression that the husband is on thin ice.

Then the husband walks two fingers down his wife’s legs, slowly.

At first, the dog just about accepts this level of touching. But then the husband gets too close to his wife’s knee.

Bailey shoots up in annoyance and barks, clearly expressing something like, “That’s far enough, mister.”

The dog then attempts to push the husband away. Doesn’t he know that he’s not allowed on Bailey and his mom’s bed?

When the husband comes back to the bed, Bailey tries something new. He lies on his mom’s legs, making it impossible for the husband to touch them. What could possibly go wrong with this plan?

After a while, Bailey believes he’s deterred the husband. So he comes up to her lap.

But then the husband comes back to the end of the bed. Once more, he starts trying to touch his wife’s leg.

First, he reaches out. Bailey barks out as soon as the hand gets near to the leg.

So the husband moves to another part of the bed. Bailey tries to block the husband’s path to his wife. The husband reaches over the dog, but the dog barks him away.

Then the wife does something that literally outrages Bailey. She reaches out her hand for the husband to hold.

The husband grasps the hand, and Bailey shoots up to stop such hanky panky. He gnaws lightly at the husband’s hand so that he stops touching.

The footage of Bailey trying to repel the husband goes on for another two minutes. Not once does the determined dog let up and allow the husband join in with cuddle time.
