In this case, itโs a loving Golden Retriever and his sweet ginger friend.
These buddies are step-siblings and they love each other very much, as you can see. They were taken in by the same family. The dog had been around for years but the kitten is new. Whenever you introduce a new smaller animal to your older, bigger one, you always fear that they wonโt get along. But the second this Golden saw his new sister, he fell in love.
The best place to take a nap is curled up with your best friend.
This Golden Retriever doesnโt mind it when his feline sister takes a nap on his soft fur. The two love napping together and the kitten feels safe when it can feel a heartbeat beneath her head. Missing mommy isnโt as bad when you have someone to protect you and love you as this new dog loves her.

They play together, eat together, nap together, and scuffle together. They do their best to protect each other too. Sometimes dog needs taken care of and sometimes kitty does. Thatโs what makes their relationship so special.
And when itโs time to take a bath, this kitten takes care of everything. Like a loving mother, she cleans her pal and then herself. Felines are wonderful at giving baths and this girl is no exception. Who needs humans when you have each other?

Sharing is caring when it comes to lunch.
These two tried separate bowls but they couldnโt resist sharing! It looks like they have hybrid food that is nutritious for both dogs and cats. To be fair, they are given their own food too, but they also have community bowls!
After they eat, itโs time to rest. Sometimes, they are sweet and cuddly. Perhaps, most of the time they are sweet and cuddly. Who wouldnโt want to take a nap with either one of these two, let alone both of them?

And other times, this kitty gets a little out of hand. While the dog knows heโs too big to play rough, kitten thinks that scuffling is lots of fun. She still needs to be told when itโs time to give it a break. Donโt worry, sheโll learn soon enough.

Donโt feel too bad for this canine though, sometimes, he gets the upper hand. Or perhaps paw. He uses his gentle touch to keep his young friend under control and does such a wonderful job. What a match made in heaven!
On rare occasions, canine overcomes feline.
After that rough play, itโs snack time. Human gives doggy a bone but kitty gets a little jealous. She wanted a new toy too! Do cats like bones? Thatโs what she wants to find out! Maybe itโs time they learn to like them!
Guess who gets the bone in the end?
