If you sang those words, then you are familiar with the upbeat and trending Tik tok challenge “Git up.” It may have been a couple of months now since most Tik tok and Fornite fanatics shared their version of the two-step dance.
If you’re getting into the beat, then let’s see why this song is such a hit. The Git Up Challenge is from the song “Git Up” by Blanco Brown. It has awesome lyrics and upbeat and the unusual combination of our beloved country and dance genre will make anyone want to dance into the music. Its fame has proven that this song has indeed captured the hearts of many.
You just want to stand up and do some two-step. The song and the challenge have stayed on the hit chart for quite some time. Of all those who accepted the trending “Git up” challenge, this particular guy got the attention of many people. Today, his uploaded YouTube video now has more than 1.5 million views.
The owner of the YouTube channel “The Elijah Tucker Show” uploaded his version of the Git Up Challenge last July 11, 2019 and he just wanted to have fun but what he didn’t expect was that his version would go viral.
The moves
The first thing that you’ll notice with him is his sleek moves. This man knows how to dance and he does it flawlessly. Each move, each step is on point and we also love his facial reactions with every move – that’s a man who loves dancing.
You can’t unseen this video once you’ve seen it and many of the comments are all about how good he is and how his version of the challenge is in fact one of the “best”!
The background and props
Elijah Tucker made sure that he has the perfect location for the perfect music. Indeed, it was spacious with the wooden background. It was also very well lit which made his video more enjoyable to watch.
The costume
You wouldn’t want to accept the Git Up challenge without the proper costume right? That would be disrespect for the trending song! Elijah wore a cowboy costume complete with hat and that blue paper cup with straw.
We have to say, those were really nice boots as well.

All in all, from the dance move to the props, this guy nailed the challenge but did you know what made it all special? Right around 2:13, everyone who’s watching this video got an unexpected surprise. He turns into Michael Jackson complete with costume and continues to dance the Git Up challenge.
Who would have thought that the signature moves of the King of Pop would perfectly fit the Git Up song?
