Everyone loves a good dance challenge. These videos go viral, and soon enough, almost everyone you know is joining in on the fun. However, in this video, we see two horses get down to the git up challenge, and it is precious.
What exactly is the “git up” challenge?
This dance challenge was inspired by the song “The Git Up” by country/hip hop artist Blanco Brown, and it went viral on the social media app Tik Tok. Then Blanco Brown himself made a tutorial on how to do it, and now that video has more than 3 million views!
There have been several videos of people doing this fun dance challenge, but now there is a video of two horses doing the challenge, and it is a sight to see!
The video starts with an adorable brown horse in sunglasses and a hat.
The horse is so well trained; it even looks like he is saying the words to the song! As soon as the song mentions grabbing a sweetheart, a beautiful tan horse comes into play joining in the dance, also wearing super cute sunglasses and a cowboy hat, which is very fitting.
When the chorus hits, that’s when the magic happens. The brown horse starts by doing the steps perfectly! Some of the videos of people doing this dance challenge aren’t as good as this horse.

Right, when the lyrics say to take a dip, the brown horse dips his head, and then hilariously, when it means to take a sip, the brown horse appears to be sipping from a can! This horse is so clever.
Then when the chorus comes around for the second part, the tan horse joins in on the dancing fun! The tan horse doesn’t exactly do the steps like her fellow brown horse, but it is such an adorable sight to see. Who would’ve known these horses could break it down like that.
This video is not only fun to watch because of how well the horses do the challenge, but because the horses look like they love it!
By the end of the video, the horses are just dancing around having a good old time. Whenever the song mentions going round and round, of course, the brown horse went round and round!
Also, whenever a prop is mentioned, the brown horse is holding the prop perfectly. Whether it be a can to sip on or a fake butterfly to hold.

What exactly is clicker training? Clicker training is a method of training that uses a marker signal to identify specific behavior, hence the positive reinforcement. This helps horses learn to repeat behavior quickly and to do it by the “click sound.” These horses got it going on!
