Though our family and friends love us very much, no one will ever be more excited to see us than our dogs.
And it doesn’t matter how long or little time it’s been in between your last meeting, they will greet you with all the love and enthusiasm that they can possibly muster.
Whether you’ve just come home from work, from a quick trip to the grocery store, or from months of being away, your dog will greet you in the same exact fashion.
Like they love you more than anything in the world and have been waiting for you anxiously since the moment you left.
And your dog will know that it’s you the minute you step one foot in your door.
Though his buddy tried to fool him, a dog named Sandy knew something was up and that his old buddy was near even though his buddy tried to play a trick on him.
“This video shows myself hiding inside a box from my dog Sandy who is now under the care of my parents,” Sandy’s human wrote on the video’s YouTube description. “I had just flown in from New York for the holidays and always enjoy the surprise reunion I share with my dog.”
As soon as Sandy sees the box, he begins circling and sniffing the box nervously. He realizes something is up and begins to bark at it furiously.
His suspicions prove to be true when the box begins moving on its own.
That’s when the box lifts up and Sandy’s human reveals herself with a high pitched “Hiiiiiiii!”
Sandy happily recognizes her and spins around in glee before jumping into her arms and whimpers with joy.
Sandy is so happy she can hardly contain herself.
I mean do you know anyone who has been so happy to see you that they jump up and kiss you and squeal with delight at the sight of your face?
Yeah, we don’t either. Other than our dogs of course!
The two just roll around a bit for a while in the bliss of their reunion. Eventually, Sandy runs over to the person holding the camera as if to say, “Look! She’s here! She’s really here!” before running back over to her.
“Always look forward to my dog greeting me when I come back home,” said one commenter on YouTube.
“Aww. so sweet!” said another.
