Talent can run in the family and other times kids just pick up something new and excel on their own. Young minds are so ambitious and creative their imaginations could take them anywhere. This 10-year-old from England, Daisy Watt, never could have guessed where her talents were going to take her.
Meet Daisy!
Daisy adored painting since she was very young but when she 6-years-old she painted a one of a kind piece. Daisy painted a picture for her mom and dad to lift their spirits after both of their parents were diagnosed with cancer. Thatโs when Daisyโs mom, Karen noticed her daughter has a real knack for painting.
A Special Talent
Her mom later asked her if sheโd want to paint something to be displayed in a local gallery and auctioned for cancer charities. Of course, Daisy was ready for the challenge so she grabbed a canvas and started working her magic. When it was time for the special charity event people from all over the world came to auction.
A Powerful Piece
Bidders were bidding back and forth on her astounding painting titled โForget-Me-Notsโ. The painting has an array of light yellows and dark blues that symbolize peopleโs battle with cancer. The gorgeous painting was sold for ยฃ9,500 which is a little over $11,000. The painting was so popular that Daisy printed 100 special editions prints that were commissioned and sold to people everywhere from Canada to Hong Kong.
Legendary Artwork
There was no denying how much people love Daisyโs Monet-like paintings. In 2017, Daisy raised ยฃ50,000 with her art and donated all of the proceeds to charity. Daisyโs compassion and talents have continued to reach the hearts of people all over the world. Daisy shared her excitement in an interview saying,
โItโs cool because Iโve never been to them places but they have the pictures upโ
Her blooming style has inspired others in all kinds of ways. At just 10-years-old Daisy has been raising all kinds of money for cancer research organizations and other charities. Daisyโs mother has been absolutely amazed by the impact of her daughterโs art has had. The power of art truly is incredible especially the fact that a 10-year-old can create pieces that are being bought in auctions.

Although Daisy has become very popular over the last couple of years, that hasnโt stopped her from being a kid. She enjoys painting in the garden and getting inspiration from mom as well as jumping on the trampoline. Weโre so happy that she continues to maintain her youthful spirit!
Her masterpieces really are a reflection of the sunshine she emits onto the world. Daisy has the whole world ahead of her and with so many accomplishments already sheโs bound for many more.
