Cats often seem to speak in hidden messages: they meow, rub against our legs, and swish their tails. Exactly what they want is usually unclear. One woman has no doubts about her cat’s wishes – and the resulting video is totally adorable.
Laura is the proud owner of a black and white kitty. The two love to spend time together, and they love to sit together on the couch. One day, as Laura was petting her cat, she got a real surprise. The cat asked to be petted again!
Laura was comfortably reclined on the couch with her kitty in place next to her. She was showering her with affection, as the owner often loves to do. But something strange happened when Laura took her hand off of the cat.
As Laura placed her hand back on her lap, the cat kept swishing her tail. It was as if she thought she was about to be pet again. Slowly, the feline realized that her affection session was over – but she wasn’t happy about it.
The cat turned around so she was facing Laura as she sat. Then, gingerly, she extended a paw toward her owner. She caught some of Laura’s hair between her claws, and it gently fell away as she pulled her paw back in to herself. Then she stared expectantly.
Clearly, Laura hadn’t gotten the hint. She simply watched her precious kitty, amused. The cat lightly hit her chest with her paw, then pulled it back. Laura looked over to the camera, then back to her bizarre cat.
“What are you asking?” Laura pondered aloud. Then, as if she had finally figured it out, she said, “Oh,” and started showing her cat more love.
This cat was in kitty heaven as her owner scratched behind her ears. The feline’s eyes struggled to remain open as she rolled her head back. Just as she stood up to soak in the love, Laura stopped again.
The kitty was so confused! Again, she used her paws to get her owner’s attention. This time she swept her paw a little closer to Laura’s nose, trying to make the message loud and clear. Pet me!
Just as the cat seemed to lose all hope, Laura embraced her again. She pet her cat lovingly, and the feline could not have been more content.
This sweet interaction between cat and owner reveals the deep love friendly creatures can have for humans. Laura’s cat loves her, that fact is certain.
