Most of us love to sing but sadly, not all of us know how to hit the right notes and most of all, not all of us can sing songs that requires vocal prowess.
Who doesn’t know the song “Listen” by Beyoncé? This song has peaked at #61 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chat and has been one of the most loved songs worldwide. The song premiered last December of 2006 for the musical film Dreamgirls.
The powerful song “Listen” was recorded by American singer Beyoncé who also wrote the song along with Henry Krieger, Scott Cutler, and Anne Preven, and was produced by The Underdogs, Matt Sullivan and Randy Spendlove. It also has a Spanish version titled “Oye.”
The song itself and the lyrics are so beautiful and intense that singing it requires passion and love. Now, the song isn’t at all easy to sing, in fact, the high notes are very hard to try and reach.
If you’re someone who loves to sing, you may have at least tried this song once or maybe more and you know how challenging it is.
Though, this young girl in our story is different. Alex Oswald walks onto court for pep rally and surprises the audiences with her vocal prowess as she was able to perfectly hit Beyonce’s song.
