If you have a dog, you know how heavily they can sleep. It can be hard to wake some dogs up for anything—even dinner or a walk!
In a recent video, we can see how easily this pup woke up when she really felt like she needed to. This particular dog—who goes by the name Lola—wakes up for one specific song in the car. It’s pretty adorable!
Viral moment
This cute video of Lola and her owner Annie went viral recently. It’s definitely a sweet one to watch, so it makes sense! In the video, Annie and Lola are in the car on a road trip. Lola is resting in the back seat as most dogs do on long car rides.
A long car ride was the perfect place for Annie to put on some good music and relax. She needed something to keep her entertained. This is especially necessary because her travel companion was sound asleep.
Musical magic
Eventually, “We Are the Champions” was playing throughout the car’s speakers. From the video, we can see Annie singing along and enjoying herself.
At first, Lola kept sleeping in the backseat. She didn’t seem bothered by the loud music. She just kept on sleeping!
After the song had been playing for a little while, Lola perked up. She got excited. Until you watch the video, it may not make sense. It’s pretty hilarious how quickly Lola joins in on the fun. She begins singing in her own way.
From the looks of it, Lola is very passionate about this song. She seems to be getting into it without any hesitation. Some dogs might be frightened by the music, but Lola doesn’t seem to mind it. Annie keeps it at a reasonable volume to avoid hurting her dog’s ears.
Plus, Lola is familiar with the song so she probably wouldn’t be scared of it anyway.

Lola is a Shiloh shepherd. These dogs sometimes want to join in with the pack—even if there isn’t one here. Singing along to this song is Lola’s way of doing that.
Immediately, we can see how happy Annie becomes to know that her dog is joining in on the fun. They must both like this song! We’re not too sure if Lola has heard this song before or not. It certainly seems like it by the way she woke right up from her comfy nap.
Lola seems to be changing her howling along with the different notes in the song. It’s pretty impressive that she can do that! Maybe she has practiced this song before and is familiar with the notes. It seems like this is the first time that Annie was able to catch this sweet moment on camera.
Luckily, Annie had a dash camera ready. She was prepared to record Lola’s beautiful singing as soon as she decided to join in.
There’s a chance that Annie planned for this to happen so that she could share her pup’s talent with the world. She might have just gotten lucky though. No matter what, we’re glad she caught it on camera!
It’s easy to say that Annie and Lola make the perfect duet! We know that they will have plenty more fun car trips with lots of good music choices. Hopefully, Annie and Lola can keep singing songs together in the car. We would love for Annie to record it again so that we all get to see them do it again soon!
