German Shepherds are beautiful and brilliant dogs. But sometimes, like any dog, they donโt know when enough is enough.
In the hilarious video below, Apollo the German Shepherd sits with an empty bowl. He stares imploringly up at his owner.
As Apollo paws at his bowl, those eyes have a clear message in them: he wants more food, and he wants it now.
I must say that Apolloโs begging method is quite disciplined. Heโs not whining or throwing a tantrum because he is not getting what he wants. Instead, he appeals to his owner, even going so far as to physically guide him to what Apollo wants.
But thatโs not without showing him a neat spinning trick with his food bowl.

Finally, as his owner asks Apollo, โCan I help you?โ, Apollo realizes his subliminal messaging isnโt enough.
The smart pup takes his owner to the pantry and barks as his owner reaches for the handle.
As Apollo sticks his nose in his food, itโs clear that he wants more food โ even though he just ate.
As his owner puts it, โIt is mid-day! You just ate! And youโre hungry again? What?!โ
But nevertheless, he seems to relent at the end of the video.
