Move over, Beyonce โ thereโs a new dancer in town, and heโs got all the sass of a superstar. A Malinois dog named Tikka has taken the internet by a storm when a video of him โdancingโ behind a glass screen door was shared to Facebook.

Tikka is evidently very excited to see his owner โ either that, or heโs dying for a wee. While his fellow doggo friends sit patiently on the tiled floor of the balcony, Tikka kicks into gear.
He hops rhythmically on the floor, tapping his front legs to the sound of a beat that no one else can hear. Give him a pair of clogs and heโd probably be worthy of entering into a competition.

Alongside his no-clog clogging, Tikka spins his head in big circle every now and again. Thereโs no denying that heโs got the moves of a professional dancer. Why his talents havenโt been spotted by the likes of Simon Cowell yet, we really donโt know.
Thereโs something unarguably entertaining about Tikka and his dance moves, especially as the video shared to Facebook had been overlayed with Pharrell Williamsโ โHappyโ. There could be no better tune to accompany the dogโs cheerful paw stamping and head spinning.

Unsurprisingly, the video proved a massive hit on Facebook, with more than 360,000 reactions and 32,000 comments. Many people offered their own amusing insight into the dance, with one person writing:
โI love it!!!! Gorgeous dog too๐ฅฐ I can see it dancing to the โdirty whineโ reggae song๐๐คโ

Someone else shared their happiness that theyโd stumbled across the video, commenting:
โSeeing this cute video made me smile today even during these crazy times. Such a happy pup! Iโll also be singing this song all day now that itโs stuck in my head!โ

A few people mentioned their concerns that the dog was dancing out of cold on icy floor, but the โiceโ is actually just white tile. Being in Mexico, itโs very unlikely that the doggo family has been left out in the snow.
The original video came from @bernesmexico_peraldini on Instagram. Tikka seems to be the latest addition to a family of Bernese Mountain Dogs. The account shares photos of Tikka and his brothers and sisters playing in the outdoors and clearly having the time of their lives.

Dogs all have different ways of showing their excitement. There are, of course, the obvious signs: a wagging tail, a panting tongue, and barking. But for some dogs, the excitement level goes beyond this, and they end up looking a bit silly in their enthusiasm.
Tikka is clearly one of these dogs. Not content with sitting still like his brothers and sisters, he just wants to have a good time. Itโs common for a dog to dance when he knows heโs about to do something he loves, like go on a walk or eat his favorite food.

Interestingly, dogs can also react to music just as we can. Just like us humans, dogs have favorite music genres, and experts even think they can be trained to enjoy specific types of music.
Some people choose to leave the radio on for their dogs while theyโre out and about, which can comfort a dog who isnโt a fan of being left alone.

Whatever the reason for Tikkaโs dancing, heโs clearly having a great time. Take a look at the video below if you havenโt laughed out loud yet today.
