Traveling on air can be quite the experience, if you happen to have interesting co-passengers who may either amuse of irritate you for the whole time that you are flying from one destination to another.
You’re quite unlucky if you end up with annoying people for the entire duration of your flight. But, if you end up with amusing people―or pets!―in your flight, then traveling can be one of the most enjoyable thing ever.
Just like this hilarious experience shared by Ursula Daphne Aitchison who took a flight from London to Ibiza. Unlike any other trips she made, this is the first time that Aitchison traveled with her dog, Huxley, and it was the funniest one she ever had!
Huxley and his mom were seated next to each other on the said flight when the pup got bored.
“He was sat in the seat next to me but got in a mood which he often does when I don’t pay him enough attention,” Aitchison said.
The dog decided to leave his mom and went to sit next to the man who was seated in front of them. He was more than happy to have Huxley beside him and the dog was quite content in having a new person to hang out with. He was completely ignoring Aitchison but, everything took a funny turn when the woman opened a bag of chips.
Huxley immediately heard his mom opening the snack and instantly moved his attention to her.
“He quickly changed his tune when he heard me eating my crisps,” Aitchison recalled.
He tried to have a taste of the chips and stuck his head between the chairs but he could not make it work at all! The faces he made brought everyone in the plane laughing out loud, too.
He tried to fit his head in between seats as much as he can. He stuck his tongue out to reach for the snack. He bared his teeth and tried to get a bite but it was all to no avail!
All the while that Huxley was doing his best to grab a few crunchy crisps, everyone who could see his face was doubled over in laughter! He surely made it a point for them to see that he is one cute puppy who can’t be ignored.
Even though his efforts to get a crisp were unsuccessful, Huxley was quite a success when it comes to having more people who adore him. He was absolutely hilarious and it made the flight a fun and enjoyable ride for his co-passengers.
Aitchison eventually posted Huxley’s hilarious photos on Facebook where the pup became even more popular. His funny antics brought a lot of laughter in the flight and people are appreciative of such a positive thing.
After doing his best to get a bite from his mom’s snack, Huxley got bored in the end and went back to befriending everyone who was around him at the time. He spent about half an hour seated next to the man in front of Aitchison before he went around to gain more friends.
“He spent 30 minutes in that seat; the man next to him said he was a very good passenger and the man across the aisle was taking selfies with him,” Aitchison said. “Huxley kept giving him his paw to hold. He was making lots of people laugh and the man next to me asked to take his photo to send to his daughter.”
The adorable pup spent the most of his flight entertaining the other passengers and with a co-traveler as funny and cute as Huxley, the flight definitely went by swiftly.
