Dogs are some of the absolute best road trip partners. They make great company, they never backseat drive, and they never complain about your music selection! In fact — this dog, named Lola, even sings along with her owner.
Lola is a beautiful Shiloh Shepherd; her and her owner, Annie Aul are taking a road trip from Montgomery, AL to Miami, FL. Aul set up a dash cam to record their banterings throughout the drive.
With an almost 11 hour drive ahead of them, Aul decided to throw on some tunes and have a little fun.
There’s no better soundtrack for a long road trip than the classics that everyone knows and loves. Listening to artists like Madonna or the Beatles is a great way to pass some time.
Even better? How about a classic rock ballad to keep your energy flowing and your mood boosted! Aul decides to play one that everyone knows — “We Are The Champions” by legendary rock band Queen.
At first, Lola is relaxing in the backseat not paying much attention to anything; then the guitars start playing.
As soon as the guitars start ramping up to go into the chorus, the gorgeous dog perks right up and can’t help but start singing along — or howl along, rather.
Her owner is lip syncing in the front while her adorable dog howls to the lyrics in the backseat. She can’t help but giggle at her silly dog every now and again.
It’s safe to say that this rock classic is Lola, the Shiloh Shepherd’s, favorite song. It’s clear she knows all the words.
It’s so adorable because she truly does only howl while Freddie Mercury is singing — it’s almost like she thinks she sounds just like him. And we absolutely love it.
Lola ends up taking a few seconds here and there to stop and catch her breath before she belts it out again. We can only assume she’s done this before and Aul knew exactly what she was doing when she set up that camera!
We can only hope we see more of Lola and more of her vocal charades. She’s got quite the sets of lungs on her.
