Not all pet dogs like it when people present them with fruits and vegetables. A pet dog could go as far as sniffing a fruit or a veggie out of curiosity but would soon lose interest and turn its back on the person giving the food.
Fruits and vegetables are not necessary inclusions in a dogโs diet, and it could very well be the reason why pet dogs are not so crazy about them. There is one dog on YouTube, however, that doesnโt mind sampling different fruits and veggies given by his human.
The dogโs name is Tucker, and there are many videos of him being coaxed into eating different kinds of fruits and veggies, much to the delight of his human who records the videos.
One video of Tuckerโs food tasting has received 35 million views. In the video, Tucker was joined by his girlfriendโs dog Journee to sample different kinds of fruits and veggies. Tuckerโs human, Courtney, was in charge of encouraging both Tucker and Journee to sample a fruit or a veggie that the two dogs may or may not like.
Each dog was given a slice of watermelon at first. Tucker took notice of the watermelon but immediately lost interest. He clearly had no appetite for watermelon that day.
Journee, on the other hand, ate her share without hesitation. She even helped herself to the watermelon that is on Tuckerโs plate.
The next veggie on the menu is carrot. Tucker did not like it, too. Courtney tried to make Tucker eat the carrot by putting it in Tuckerโs mouth, but Tucker only spat it out. Journee ended up eating the carrot that Tucker was so determined not to eat.
To give the two dogs a break from eating vegetables, Courtney brought out two strips of chicken. And, when Tucker saw them, he could not contain his excitement.
If there was one thing that Tucker wanted to eat that day, it was chicken. Tucker was not really having any of those fruits and veggies.
Journee, however, liked what Courtney had fed her. She ate the slice of watermelon and the slice of carrot with much gusto as she ate the strip of chicken given to her.
Courtney made them sample other fruits and veggies, including broccoli, banana, and lettuce.
Journee ate all of them as usual. As for Tucker, he still wanted to eat chicken. Thank goodness Linda let him have more in the video.
