There is a bond between a dog and an owner that isn’t easily broken. Science tries to “debate” the fact that our dogs love us, but all it takes is owning one to know that’s not the truth! They love to show their affection, even if they know they aren’t going to get anything for it. If you want an animal that will love you to the end of the earth, a dog might make a great pet choice!
So when a German Shepherd reunited with her owner after months apart, we just knew that her reaction was going to be totally adorable.

The video was shared onto YouTube by Rumble Viral with the caption, “After a few months apart, Freya the German Shepherd is finally reunited with her owner in this heartwarming clip… just listen to those cries of happiness!”
Since being posted it has received over 14.7 million views, as well as thousands of likes and comments.
The moment starts with Freya’s mom letting the back door of her house open to allow Freya outside. The German Shepherd has no idea that her favorite person in the whole world is waiting right around the corner!
As Freya greets her mom with her usual affection, she hears her dad calling her name from behind her – and that’s when she totally loses it.
As her dad gets low to see her, Freya literally can’t hold still! Spinning and wagging her whole body, she lets out whines to show how excited she is. Her tail was flying back and forth like a whip and after being gone for so long, you can’t blame her! She is the happiest pup in the world.
Finally, Freya’s extreme happiness seems to drive her to exhaustion, and she collapses in between the legs of her owner. She lies on her back and is given her first belly rub in probably a long time from her dad. She honestly looks like the happiest dog in the world.
This sweet video just goes to show how special we owners are to our dogs.
The time they spent apart didn’t mean a thing for Freya. She never forgot about her dad and you can tell from the way she reacted that she really did miss him.
