What did we do to deserve dogs?

Dogs love us unconditionally. You don’t need to do anything but be yourself and your dog will think you’re the greatest person on the planet.

All your dog wants is to spend time with you, make you happy, and maybe, they want a few treats and butt scratches in return.

When you’re feeling down, your dog is there. One dog proved just how compassionate our furry friends really are.

Clark is a very good boy. He loves his owner, Rebbeca Jude Weaver and her fiancé, Sage, very much.

The one and half-year-old miniature Goldendoodle lives with his favorite humans in Rochester, New York.

What Clark doesn’t love is getting a bath. Like most dogs, he strongly dislikes the getting a bath. Most dogs tend to get a little anxious when they’re put in the tub.

Apparently, Clark has realized that not only does he have to get a bath, but so do his owners. This seemed to concern Clark and he checks in on his owners when they’re in the shower.

Clark’s owner, Rebecca, told The Dodo that the bath is the bane of Clark’s existence. Like a good guard dog, he makes sure the bath isn’t upsetting his owners.

“He wants to save us from the bath. He stays for a good five minutes. This is the torture part for him and he’s super upset and sad.”

While checking up on this, Clark seemed to think of something that could help make his owners feel better. His favorite green toy!

Seeing as Clark loves his toy, he assumed they would too and brought it to the shower. Clark dropped it into the shower for Rebecca in case she needed some comfort.

Rebecca told The Dodo how it first happened:

“He wanders off and returns after a few seconds with his green toy and plops it in the tub, to which he immediately cheers up! It’s all he has to give and he does it every time. He is so sweet.”

When Clark first started checking on them in the shower, Rebecca said it was a bit unexpected. She told news station WHAM:

“It was scary the first time I saw him behind me because I wasn’t expecting him to be just standing there looking at me. He just looked so concerned, then he would walk away and bring you his green toy. Then he would drop it in the tub and get all excited.”
