Dogs are the best… except to mailmen.

It’s always funny to see how dogs react when they see random people just doing their jobs.

It’s strange, perplexing, and even downright wholesome at times.

Of all the people they take an interest in, mailmen seem to be our furry friends’ biggest targets.

To dogs, mail couriers are seen as pesky interlopers.

They come in, uninvited to Doggo’s domain in an innocent attempt to literally do their jobs, but completely unaware of what lurks in the shadows.

It’s a fight as old as time itself – mailman vs. neighborhood dog.

Now consider the garbageman.

Less attention’s given to this essential member of society. Perhaps their struggles against “man’s best friend” aren’t as iconic, but they’re equally as noteworthy.

Mailmen aren’t the only workers in contact with neighborhood hounds.

Mailmen portrayed in popular media usually get hit with the endless bark attack or a chase down.

But what about the garbageman?

Maybe dogs don’t view them as a threat. Maybe garbagemen are lovers.

Some dogs are lovers.

What starts off as a normal day for one garbageman turns into an unexpected encounter with a neighborhood Golden Retriever.

The result might just melt your heart!

As a dog owner, it’s key to always stay keen on our pet’s attitude and behaviors.

Once the garbage truck rolled around, Shelby started to switch gears.

Josh can read her like a book.

Shelby’s curiosity was getting the best of her, and she was not going to postpone her excitement for anything in the world.

She slowly started losing her composure.

Joshua went outside to see what the commotion was all about, filming everything in the process.

As it turns out, dogs are super sensitive to alarming sounds, especially high pitched frequencies.

Maybe Shelby’s excited at the mechanical marvel in front of her.

The machinery of the truck might be the real culprit.

But Shelby’s behavior indicates otherwise… She draws closer to the truck, but her attention’s set on something nearby.

There’s an obvious cause for her excitement.

All the evidence points to one thing: the garbageman, himself!

When the truck pulled up, Shelby had to engage the garbageman.

This would give any mailman flashbacks.

The moment he exited the truck he was hit with a furry train chugging towards him at a full speed!
