Halloween is right around the corner.
People from all over are putting together costumes and making their way to pumpkin patches. The weather turns cozy with just the right amount of colors.
It’s easy to see us humans getting into the swing of things but rarely do we see animals wanting to partake in its traditions.
That isn’t the case for a little pup named Stoli.
Stoli is a Mini Frenchie who was recently adopted into a loving family. The loving family also happens to be big fans of Halloween.
Their house is decorated with skeletons and plenty of other Halloween-themed ornaments.
This year is going to be Stoli’s first Halloween and he seemingly couldn’t be more excited about it.
So much so, he didn’t have to be forced into a costume. He went out and found one himself!
One of the decorations at Stoli’s residence is a giant skeleton of a dragon. He immediately took to the Halloween decoration.
After investigating the skeleton, he figured it was safe enough to play around in.
With no hesitation, Stoli lunged himself into the body of the skeleton. Not only did he look a bit ridiculous, he looked incredibly cute.
Stoli’s pet mom, Nikki Lennarson, told The Dodo, “He was in there for a while. I honestly thought he was stuck at first. [I] was confused how he got into it until I saw him climbing back up!”
Though Stoli looked innocent enough inside of his new costume, his intentions may not have been!
Lennarson explained that Stoli was a bit annoyed with his sibling, Tequila. To get her back, he decided to hide in the skeleton, hoping to scare her, Lennarson gathered.
Stoli achieved this goal when Tequila dozed off for a nap. He climbed inside his new pal and when she woke up, she was startled to find Stoli hidden inside of the skeleton.
“Tequila didn’t hear him so [she] had no clue he was inside until she must [have] caught his movement of his head popping through the rib cage.”
According to Lennarson, she wasn’t impressed.
“She was staring at him like, ‘Get out!'”
Stoli hiding away in the skeleton and peering through its ribs made him look ridiculous, true but Lennarson and her family got a kick out of it nonetheless.
Eventually, she decided to move the giant skeleton away from her dogs out of safety concerns.
Of course, Stoli was sad to see his new friend taken away. However, shortly after, he found a new friend in a much smaller, skeleton in the form of a dog.
This skeleton is definitely more of Stoli’s speed!
Recently, Stoli won the Canine Beauty Contest: Halloween Edition and was gifted a Halloween-themed collar!
It seems like Halloween is shaping up to be one of Stoli’s favorite days of the year! We’ll have to see how he fares with the holidays come December!
He just might have two favorite days of the year!
