There are those who canโ€™t be committed to either being a โ€œcat-personโ€ or a โ€œdog-personโ€. Some pet owners bring these two totally opposite creatures into their households, loving them equally.

That doesnโ€™t mean cat and dog are always going to live together in harmony. Thereโ€™s a reason cartoons always depict them as enemies.

If you grew up with a brother or sister you can attest to how frustrating it was at times. Most times.

For some of us, we had siblings that liked to do disgusting things like give out wet-willies and purposefully burp in our faces. And itโ€™s usually the brothers who enjoy these antics.

But even a cat has to stand up for herself, right? In the video below, the feline wasnโ€™t too happy with her doggie siblingโ€™s disgusting behavior. But instead of running to the owner, it decided to take the matter into its own paws.

According to the AKC, dogs and cats arenโ€™t โ€œnatural enemies.โ€ However, they do have differences in their behavior that can lead to conflict.

One example their website provided has to do with the animalsโ€™ instincts. They explained:

โ€œDogs, even toy breeds, still retain some of the hunting instincts that served their wild ancestors. This instinct is why dogs love to chase moving objects, whether itโ€™s a ball, a squirrel, or a house cat. Since many cats flee upon seeing a dog, itโ€™s easy to see how relations can quickly deteriorate.โ€

Itโ€™s actually very possible to have a strong bond develop between a dog and cat using early socialization or training.

You can see the two pets resting on the same bed next to each other.

The dog appears to be fast asleep, totally lost in dream world looking as peaceful as can be. As for the cat, itโ€™s just enjoying wasting time in a comfy spot. But then out of nowhere, the unthinkable happensโ€ฆ

A loud fart breaks the silence.

Instantly, the cat looks at the sleeping pooch with angry eyes โ€“ as if itโ€™s certain whoโ€™s to blame for the stinky move.

Now, we donโ€™t know what the feline was thinking for sure, but you can almost sense its thoughts simply by sight. Dude that was totally you. You just had to when I was here. Honestly.

This is one kitty that wasnโ€™t going to just turn the other cheek. Letโ€™s just say it decided to teach the canine a lesson for passing gas by โ€œputting up its paws.โ€
