We hope you’re somewhere cool, because these animal besties will absolutely melt you.
Bob the Golden Retriever is the gentlest giant around. He is incredibly friendly, and loves to cuddle with his bird and hamster siblings. Despite their differences in size and coat, these buddies get along perfectly, and enjoy spending their days together in their Sau Paulo home.
Their owner, Luiz, captures photos of them in many adorable poses and posts them on their Instagram profile, which has won the hearts of over 200,000 followers.
Bob joined Luiz Higa Junior when he was four months old. Since then, eight birds and a hamster have joined them, happily expanding their family.
Luiz says that the whole crew gets along and has behaved well together since the very beginning.
Bob spends so much time with his feathered friends, he probably thinks he’s a bird himself, and finds crafty ways to perch himself next to the flock.

Bob always has a smile on his face when he spends time with his friends, even more so when they nestle on top of him.
It seems that napping is one of this clan’s favorite activities.
However, Bob isn’t the only friendly one in the family. His siblings love to cuddle with him too, and even give him gentle pecks of affection.
Bob is also quite protective of his smaller pals.
Fur or feather, this bunch will always remain the best of friends.
