Even though the older doctor was on the phone he didn't have a problem hanging up his call to jump in, leaving passerbys shocked with how good they were.

First, it takes a lot of work to become a doctor. Then, once you finally become one, it’s even more work — 100 hour weeks are not unusual. Because of the long hours, one thing that most aspiring medical professionals eventually realize is that it is important to have other hobbies on the side in order to stay sane.

For example, some doctors love playing the piano.

Dr. Ben Toury and Dr. K took to the London subway recently for their stress relief, ripping out some epic boogie-woogie tunes for their fellow commuters on the public platform 88 Yamaha piano that sits at the Canary Wharf and Tottenham Court Road underground station.

Dressed in full doctor’s scrubs, they saw the empty piano there and couldn’t resist jamming out for a few minutes before continuing on to work.

It turns out, there is no better way to mentally prepare yourself for a long day at the hospital than playing a couple of sick piano tunes for passerbys in the London underground.

The video of their performance is something you have to check out for yourself.

As one of the doctors finishes up a phone call, the other younger doctor sits down and begins to play while he waits. It quickly becomes apparent how incredibly talented he is. His fingers move so fast!

After the first song is finished, the other doctor also decides to join in on the fun.

What happens next is nothing short of spectacular. They play their epic boogie-woogie jam at light speed in perfect unison and everyone passing by them in the train station can’t help but to stop and stare.

Numerous people can be seen in the background pulling out their phones to record the spectacle.

It’s not often that two NHS doctors would decide to put on a concert quality show out of the blue like that. It’s a performance that is definitely worth remembering, and in no time at all, a little crowd gathers around them. Really, judging by the people’s facial expressions, no one knows what to think.

Not only are the doctors both accomplished in the medical field, but based on the way that they play, they are pretty much professional pianists too.

If things don’t work out in the hospital, the doctors definitely have a music career waiting for them in some concert hall or bar somewhere. On the Internet though, the two are already famous.

The video of Dr. Toury and Dr. K’s performance was published about a year ago to this day, and in that time period, it has managed to rack up over 4 million views. People on YouTube are just as stunned by the performance as the unsuspecting people on the subway were.

“His fingers move faster than my Internet connection…” one user said.

Another person commented on how shocking it was that only a handful of people stopped to watch.

Many of the people in the background of the video continued on about their day without even giving the doctors a second glance.

We know we were impressed when we saw it at least.

Our only regret is that the video isn’t longer!

After the doctors play a few songs, they pack up and head off into the crowds just like nothing ever happened. It’s understandable though. The two men don’t want to keep their patients waiting.
