But if you weren’t born during that era, then you might want to give yourself a glimpse of the movie. The 1-minute clip was uploaded by a YouTube channel called ‘Jamie Jones’ and on the video’s description they wrote,

“In this deleted scene we see Johnny/Patrick Swayze teach Baby/Jennifer Grey how to dance for their performance at the Shelldrake. A lot of people think this is in the movie or is rehearsal footage but it’s definitely a deleted scene. Production had to cut scenes because of time, the budget and this was one of them. Plus they had the Mickey and Silvia scene and wanted to include that in the movie. Patrick and Jennifer were just warming up and didn’t know the camera was rolling. Production loved it so much, they made sure to include that scene in the movie. Because of that, this scene was cut from the movie.”

One fan and online viewer couldn’t help but comment, “The fact that in this world Johnny had to take time out of his day like a real teacher to make a sign is hilarious to me for some reason lmao and also the fact that baby is wearing her cardigan over her get up is just so on brand for her character. I love this deleted scene, it just says a lot about both of their characters in such a short snippet.”
