Kathie Lee Gifford is one proud grandma basking in her grandson’s love.
The former TODAY’s show host proudly shared her first meeting with her grandson on her Instagram account, and it’s wonderful.
She sang Amazing Grace to the little one while rocking him to sleep, and she was surprised how he snoozed a few minutes later.
Kathie is doing such a great job as a first-time grandmother.
She introduced Frank Michael Gifford to the world.
It’s her grandson from her son Cody, one of her two children with her late husband, Frank Gifford.
Cody’s wife, Erika, also shared on her Instagram that they named their son after two strong, brave men in their lives: Frank and her late uncle Michael.
It’s a beautiful nod to them and to have them remembered through the years.
But you know what’s better than that? Little Frankie has a close resemblance to his granddad.
Erika shared this photo of a younger Frank Gifford holding a football, and the next picture was of Frankie holding a football plushie.

We know this little guy will look like an absolute stunner when he grows up!
People can’t help but gush over Frankie’s baby photos posted by Erika and Kathie.
They’ve been doing a weekly thing called #FrankieFridays, where they post or feature a photo of Frankie every Friday and give updates on his development.
It could be big moments like the first time he took a bath (and liking it!) to small but meaningful ones like making his mommy and daddy smile.
On the other hand, Kathie Lee Gifford enjoys being a grandmother.
In an interview with Access Hollywood back in 2019, she said she’s been waiting for a long time to be a grandmother.
Now that the moment has finally come, she spends as much time as possible with Frankie.
Aside from being the little one’s grandmother, I think the one thing that draws Kathie to him is how much he looks like Frank.
They recently celebrated his first birthday, and the resemblance grows stronger by the day.
In her birthday post, Kathie posted an adorable photo of Frankie wearing a collared shirt and fastened to his car seat.
The proud grandma wrote a birthday greeting and a short prayer of gratitude for this beautiful gift she had.
Comments flooded in her post saying that Frankie has “the Gifford eyes,” which makes him look like Cody and Frank.
Kathie would definitely enjoy being a grandmother to little Frankie.
He’s only a year old but has already filled their hearts with joy.
We can’t wait to see the kid grow up to be and hopefully live up to the two strong, kind men he was named after.
