Dancing With The Stars fans it is time to rejoice!
Our favorite power couple from the show, Emma Slater and Sasha Farber, are officially married.
The adorable dancing couple got married in private over the weekend on Sunday, March 25, 2018.
The couple’s special day took place at Bella Blanca in Los Angeles. The venue was a perfect choice for this couple, as it is located in the NoHo Art’s District of North Hollywood, CA.
The couple invited Us Weekly to their wedding to partake in their important day.
Emma wore two Rivini gowns during the celebration. Her first gown was a fitted sheer dress with lace appliqués for the ceremony. Her second gown was sheath dress with a flowy skirt – perfect for dancing!
Sasha wore a handmade tuxedo, created by Onik Design, the designer responsible for most of his wardrobe on Dancing With The Stars.
Emma shared a photo and wrote about their wedding in her Instagram caption:
“We are beyond excited to wake up this morning as Mr & Mrs Farber! I’m so overwhelmed right now, I know I’ll share more photos but for now I just wanted to thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts for all your kind and beautiful messages of love.
Yesterday was hands down the best day of my life, I’m married to the man of my dreams”
Sasha shared the same photo that Emma did of them outside of Houdini Estate on their wedding day. He captioned his photo with:
Hands down the best night of my life! Surrounded by our close friends and family meant everything to my Wife and I
Some of the celebrity guests that were in attendance during the wedding were DWTS recurring judge, Julianne Hough, and her husband Brooks Laich, Nick and Vanessa Lachey, and Cheryl Burke.
According to Us Weekly, the couple’s first dance song was “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran. Is there any song better fitted for a wedding? We think not!
While Ed could not attend the wedding to perform the song live, he did record a message for the couple and their wedding guests to watch before their dance.
Wedding planner Michael Russo told Us Weekly:
“As Emma walked down the aisle, instantly locking eyes with Sasha, it was as if time stood still. Their moving vows had moments of both humor and heartfelt emotion, which made the ceremony a truly special and magical thing to behold.
I couldn’t be more proud to have been a witness to this celebration of pure, unconditional love.”
Emma Slater joined Dancing With the Stars in 2012 as a troupe dancer for season 14. It was until three years later that she was officially promoted to DWTS Pro.
Some of her partners over the last couple of seasons include Bill Engvall, Hayes Grier, and most recently, Property Brothers star, Drew Scott. In season 24, Emma and her partner Rashad Jennings came in first place.
Sasha Farber joined DWTS at the same time as his wife as a troupe member and was also promoted to DWTS Pro the same year.
Sasha’s most famous DWTS partners are Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Simone Biles. He’s yet to win the coveted Mirror Ball Trophy, but maybe next season he’ll be lucky!
Emma and Sasha previously dated from 2011 to 2014, but split up briefly, before rekindling in 2015.
Sasha famously proposed to Emma during a live episode of Dancing With the Stars on October 4, 2016.
