Back in 2012 in Dallas, Texas, a young police offer made jaws drop when he went on stage and started belting out the lyrics to โHeart Attackโ by singer and song writer, Trey Songz.
It was during the Oak Cliff Film Festival that he decided to treat the attendees with an unexpected song number.

There was no fancy stage set up; nor were there special lights and sounds. It was just a simple arrangement of booths and a stage in the middle of what seemed like a pleasant neighborhood preparing for a fun event.
But when the police officer began to sing, people immediately began moving towards the stage.
They didnโt just stand there watching him, in awe of his singing talent.
In fact, most of the ladies were spotted dancing along to the beat of the R&B track.
None of this fazed the gentleman in a uniform. He continued to sing effortlessly, prompting the audience to whip out their smartphones and record his performance.
Aside from the clear, strong singing voice of the police officer, people couldnโt help but notice that he also had the stage presence to match.
He was effortlessly cool on stage as he sang, confident and composed.
Dedicated police officers may look intimidating, but they sure make up for it in their own way. Most of them go above and beyond the call of their duty. Stories of police officers doing groceries for the elderly, delivering pizza to kids, and rescuing animals are just few of the many surprising and amazing things they do apart from whatโs on their job description.
This cop is a game changer, too.

It wasnโt just the crowd in Oak Cliff that was impressed. YouTube users were wowed by his talent, too.

This police officer definitely stole the show without meaning to. He just wanted to get up on that stage and sing what seemed like one of his favorite songs.
Music and singing really do bring stress relief. Weโre glad this talented police officer was given a chance to show how well he could sing, and that the rest of us are fortunate enough to hear it through this video.
