When there are a few siblings among each other in one household, it’s normal for one to get jealous of the other. If a parent is giving one child special attention — or a special gift, or anything else you can imagine — it’s almost guaranteed that the other child will want that too. It’s classic sibling rivalry!
But who ever thought of a pet getting jealous of a kid in a family? In this hilarious and adorable clip, that is very much the case. We guess it makes sense too — dogs do love to be a part of a pack. Even if it is a pack of humans.
In a house in Tennessee, a German Shepherd by the name of Wade is definitely an attention-loving pup who loves to be a part of the family. He loves to play with the three kids in the family — whose mother is Samantha Kendricks — and he really makes sure that he is never one to be left out.
Samantha usually manages to capture adorable photos of the pup and her sons, but on one particular day she shot a hilarious video of Wade playing with her husband and her son, Blaize. She shared the clip on Facebook and it had everyone laughing, quickly making it go viral with over 17 million views.
The video shows Blaize and his father playing a seemingly very fun and silly game where the dad picks up Blaize and then throws him on the bed. His son is cackling the whole way through and seems happier than ever.
The best part though, is watching Wade, who is clearly also very interested in joining the game. As the father lifts his son in the air, there Wade is: Waiting eagerly at his feet for his own turn.
So what does Blaize’s father do? What any fun dad would do! He gives Wade his own turn by picking up the happy pup and throwing him on the bed too (how the clearly strong father manages to pick up an 85-pound German Shepherd might deserve a story of its own). Wade is seen clearly loving it.
As it’s happening, Blaize is also standing on the sidelines, cheering his “brother” on.
“I’m dying right now,” Samantha wrote in the caption for the now-viral video. She later commented again, writing, “They are the best! Always cracking me up.”
The rest of the world seems to agree, and also can’t get enough of this marvelous trio. “That is so precious!” One person wrote.
“This is amazing and just made my whole day,” another said. “You can’t give me baby fever and puppy fever at the same time, Sam,” another person hilariously wrote.
One person even wrote: “That is so funny but I am pretty sure he is going to be really sore tomorrow.” We’re assuming they’re speaking in regards to the father’s super strength!
