If you are a parent, you can probably say that you don’t love surprises from your children. If your children surprise you, it is probably with something bad like a speeding ticket or a bad grade.
But that doesn’t always happen. Sometimes, your children can fool you and actually put a smile on your face with a positive surprise. Whatever it takes, parents will do their best to take care of their children, no matter what point they are at in their lives.
This father was having a bad day. His favorite team, The Patriots, had just lost a game to The Eagles so, being the typical dad he is, it was getting him down.
In an attempt to sway himself out of a bad mood, he thought it would be a fun idea to go grab some ice cream together with his daughter, Anna. However, when he went to go get her in her room, she was nowhere to be found.
Being the father he is, he was worried when he couldn’t find her. Then he discovered a handwritten note left on Anna’s bed.
When a parent finds nothing but a note from their child, of course they are going to go into straight panic mode. At that point, you just want to know where your child is. You don’t want some mysterious explanation of where they could be, and you don’t want to find out that they decided to run away.
But much to the dad’s surprise, the note was there to inform him that Anna was eloping with her new boyfriend, Muhammad.
“I’ve finally found true love, and he’s just great! I especially love his cute piercings, sexy scars, cool tattoos and his big motorcycle,” Anna wrote in her letter.
The letter was written with so much love and enthusiasm, it was actually pretty surprising.
It gets even crazier.
Anna then goes on to announce that she is also having Muhammad’s baby and that she is already three months pregnant. She shares that after the two elope, they are going to settle down in his trailer and eventually have more children.
“I’m so happy!!! And guess what? We’re going to get married next week,” she wrote, giving her father no time to prepare.
But wait. It somehow gets even crazier.
“He’s also explained to me that weed isn’t as bad as some people make it out to be, so now we’re growing 17 plants behind our trailer. We’ll have enough for him and his friends, and in return, they’ll give us as many pills as we want,” she wrote.
Hmm, doesn’t really sound like something any parent would ever want to hear.
She continues:
“I do hope that they find a cure for herpes soon, so that Muhammad can get better — he really deserves it. Don’t worry about money — Muhammad’s friends Juan and Stanislav are in the movie business, and they’ve arranged for me to become an actress!”
“The job pays pretty well, 50 dollars per take, and I get another 50 if there are more than three men in the same scene. So don’t worry about me — I’m 16 years old and can take care of myself,” she adds.
At the end, she tells her father that when he visits the trailer, he will have his very own grandchild.
Thankfully, at the end of the note, Anna leaves a little P.S. note that reads:
“Dad, none of this is true — I only popped over to Emma’s place to watch some TV. I just wanted to remind you that there are worse things in life than The Patriots losing to The Eagles!”
She sure got her dad in for a good scare!
