A dad wouldn’t be a dad if they didn’t try to embarrass their children at any given opportunity- and when the perfect opportunity presented itself to one dad, naturally, he just had to take it.
The family were driving through Coos Bay, OR, when dad Justin Criddle, 44, noticed that 15-year-old daughter Abrielle’s attention was focused on something.
There was a group of topless boys washing cars at a nearby car wash, and Abrielle couldn’t resist taking a peek.
As soon as Justin picked up on this, he decided that it was only fair to pay the boys a visit and give the car wash a bit of extra business. Abrielle would also get to have a closer look at the boys, which is what she wanted, right?
Wrong! As Justin manoeuvres into the car wash, poor Abrielle is clearly humiliated by her jokester dad’s decision- and to make matters worse, he decides to film the whole thing.
“We’ve found a few teenage boys doing a car wash, and my teenage daughter seems to like the fact that their shirts were off- so we’ve stopped here,” Justin tells the camera.
Meanwhile, Abrielle squirms with embarrassment in the backseat, using a blanket to cover up her embarrassed expression.
But Justin’s embarrassing dad duties aren’t quite done yet.
“We’re gonna make it easy on you guys, we just want three or four people washing my teenage daughter’s back window,” Justin shouts to the boys.
He makes it clear that the reason they have come to visit this car wash is purely for Abrielle’s sake, and the boys seem to find the whole thing pretty amusing.
We have to give credit to Abrielle, as despite her being completely red-faced about the whole situation, she laughs along with her dad to the point where she has to wipe the tears away from her eyes. “I’m really so embarrassed… This is literally the most embarrassing…” She says in between laughter.
As around five or six boys begin to wipe down Abrielle’s window, Justin has just one more embarrassing moment in store.
Abrielle is hiding behind her blanket in embarrassment when her jokester dad begins to wind down her window. There really is nowhere left to hide now! Luckily for Abrielle, her dad doesn’t keep the window down for more than a couple of seconds, and before long, the torturous ordeal is over.
Justin’s hilarious video was shared onto YouTube by Caters Clips, and since being posted it has received over 2.2 million views from people all over the world. People took to the comments to express their love for the video:
