Parenting requires teamwork: both parents have to work together in order to have a happy home and healthy family. Sometimes, women worry that their husbands are not doing enough to interact with their children; after all, mothers are more typically responsible for child rearing. This father proved his powerful parenting skills in an epic way.
Rujeana is the mother of two kids, and she has a lot on her plate. She shares the responsibilities of raising an infant and a toddler with her husband. Since Rujeana’s parents, her children’s grandparents, do not live close to her family, this mother set up a camera in the living room. She wanted to catch all the cute things the kids were doing so she could share the memories with their grandparents.
Rujeana hid the camera in the living room, without telling anyone – not even her husband. Her goal was to capture her children’s silly moments on film, but instead she got something much more hilarious: her husband dancing around on camera!
One day, while his wife was out of the house, this dad was doing some chores. His children played in the living room; his oldest danced with pompoms in front of the T.V., and his youngest bounced around in her play area. All was relatively normal from the camera’s point of view – until dad came into the room.
Dad placed the laundry on the table, and immediately started dancing toward his daughter. The girls’ eyes locked on him as he broke out into an epic routine. This dad was dancing all around the room!
This guy had some great moves. His expert footwork shows that he is clearly familiar with the song that’s playing: “Supernatural” by Katy Perry. At one point he even grabs his daughter’s pompoms and swishes them into a pink flurry. Here is a man who is not afraid to have fun with his children.
Toward the end of the song, this dad dramatically tossed the pompom onto the floor, his hand up in a diva pose. His daughters giggled loudly as he walked out of the room, returning to his serious adult chores.
Rujeana was in for a big surprise when she got home that day. No doubt she was dying of laughter when she played back the tape. One thing is for sure, though: her husband makes a great father.
This dad is a shining example to all parents who want to be close to their kids. Making memories builds a bond that will last a lifetime.
