If you are a pet owner, then you understand that the pets who live with you deserve the entire world… And more. We love to spoil our little creatures as much as we possibly can because they are so cute. Whether that means giving them treats, spending time playing with them, or taking them on adventures, we really do all that we can to give them a great life.
This one lady loved her dogs so much, she spoiled them more than anyone else in her family. She spoiled them so much, in fact, she built an entirely new room just for them.
Her mother shared her daughter’s room-building process via Twitter and it got a lot of attention. Rightfully so — taking a spare room in the house and completely transforming it for your animals is no small feat.
The walk-in doggy house were for their two extraordinary Yorkshire Terriers, Ginger and Fergie.
“I was going to sneak upstairs to see how Kennedi’s redecorating of her game room/bonus room was coming along but Ginger and Fergie were standing guard at the top of the stairs,” her mother shared on Twitter.
There was a whole thought process that helped move the imaginative creation along. They wanted a window seat, so they added a little twist to it.
She explained: “Since Kennedi was redecorating the bonus room, I said to myself, ‘Diane (that’s what I call myself), you need a window seat for that room.’ So I built one with storage and 2 built-in dog houses.”
So not only was there a window seat, but a window seat with a doggy house and extra storage. Not only is it adorable, but it is functional!
As Kennedi and her mother worked hard on their dogs’ fabulous new space, Ginger and Fergie eagerly waited and even offered some moral support. Sure, it’s not as helpful as putting together some furniture or something but they are so cute, they can certainly get away with it.
“Kennedi helped a bit… Then she had to rest,” her mother wrote with a hilarious photo of her chilling with the pups.
So every now and then, Ginger and Fergie would come with loads of hugs and kisses. Then it was time for the power team to get back to work on their brand-new home that was made from scratch.
By day 9, the inside walls were painted, the inside flooring was installed, and the outside walls were standing and painted. Not too shabby, we’d say!
Not too long after, by day 12, they had made a whole new floor for the room. Try to tell us these pups ain’t spoiled!
As the duo shared the entire process, the rest of the Internet eagerly followed along. After all, it’s not every day that you see someone build up and entire room for two small puppies from scratch. Now that’s true love.
As if building the room wasn’t enough, the duo didn’t stop there. They also had the creative idea to hang some artwork on the wall for the dogs. These must be the most well-behaved dogs of all time!
The look on the dog’s faces when they entered the finished room was absolutely priceless.
It only took 15 days and when it was all done, the two dogs seemed very appreciative. Turns out they loved it! I mean, who wouldn’t? What the mother-daughter duo accomplished is pretty incredible.
Welcome home, Fergie and Ginger, and congrats on having the most loving, caring owners of all time. You are truly set up for a fabulous life!
