If all the dance styles out there, country swing is one of the most romantic. Not only are there hundreds of country love songs to dance to, but the dance itself is incredibly bond-strengthening.
When you and your partner practice country swing, you have the opportunity to hold hands and dance together, rather than side by side or alone. Many country swing moves are performed with passion, from the majestic dip to the many, many different spinning moves incorporated into the dance. For this reason, country swing is the perfect dance style for wedding first dances.
Though there are hundreds of examples of romantic country swing dances on the internet, none is quite so compelling as this. It features a male and female country swing dancing couple performing a routine in front of a stunning mountain backdrop.
The woman is wearing jeans, a black top and a burgundy knee-length cardigan that flutters in the breeze as the pair move. The man has on a checkered shirt, a waistcoat and a cowboy hat, which the couple cleverly incorporate into the dance.
As “Keep Dancin & Romancin” by Hunter begins to play, the couple begin in an embrace, with the female dancer standing in front of the male. The pair clasp hands and sway together, then kick straight into their performance.
It’s clear from the very beginning that the dancers are both highly skilled, as they pull off a number of advanced moves in quick succession. The male dancer is strong enough to support his partner as she rolls backward over his back, spins a dizzying number of times close to him, and drops back to the floor.
Both dancers have huge smiles on their faces as the camera pans around their performance. They pull off each of their moves with ease, never a beat out of place, and the chemistry between them is obvious.
The routine is split into some super impressive complex moments, where the dancers move so fast that we can barely keep track of them, and some slower, more intimate moments, where the dancers gaze into each other’s eyes as they rotate together in circles.
The pair appear to be a couple in real life, which would explain why there’s so much obvious chemistry between them. Of course, country dancers are used to being paired up with other men or women who can perform to their standard, but there’s something particularly special about this routine, knowing that the two are partners off-stage as well as on-stage.

Though many of Show Her Off’s videos have been a hit with the YouTube audience, the romantic country swing dancing couple’s routine has received the most interest. With nearly 20,000 views, those in the comments share their awe at the couples’ slick moves, with one person writing,
“Wauw! I wish I could dance like that and win a girl’s heart over! Look at them having fun! The music, the scenery, their clothing, … It’s the perfect picture! :)”
