Vodka is, was, and always will be best as a drink that gets you drunk.
But vodka can also come in pretty handy for other things around the house. Here are some alternative uses for vodka.

Clean Funky Towels
If you have some towels that smell downright funky, you can add 1/3 cup of vodka into your wash cycle along with detergent to get rid of the pungent smells. Once the washer fills up, stop it so that the towels can soak for an hour before you resume the cycle.
Jellyfish Stings
Disinfect, heal, and soothe your jellyfish sting by pouring some vodka on it.
Wash Windows
Mix a cup of vodka, 1/4 cup of vinegar, and 1/2 teaspoon of liquid soap in a spray bottle for the best damn window spray you’ve ever seen.

Fried Chicken

Creamy Ice Cream
If you’re making some homemade ice cream, you’ll want to make sure that you add a tablespoon of vodka so that your ice cream doesn’t harden too fast or over-freeze.
Shiny, Smooth Hair
Pour an ounce of vodka into your shampoo bottle to make your hair shiny and combat frizz. The vodka will wash away the pH build up.
Soothe Poison Ivy
Need a poison ivy fix before you can get to the drug store, like a.s.a.p? Pour some vodka on it before it starts to spread.
Clean Jewelry
Soak your rings in vodka for five minutes to get it super clean.
