Homemade Air Freshener

Rather than buy a new air freshener every two weeks, create one at home. Fill a mason jar with 1/2 cup baking soda and 8-12 drops of your favorite essential oil. Then, use a colorful piece of paper as the lid and poke holes into it.

Get Rid Of Shower Head Build Up

Who doesn’t love a warm shower after a long day at work? We all do, but it’s always irritating to deal with the grime and build-up on the shower head. To prevent this, fill a baggy with vinegar and tie it around your shower head.

Let it soak overnight, and your problem will be solved.

Unclog A Drain

If you ever have a clogged drain, then try this out.

First, pour a pot of boiling water directly down the drain. Then, stuff 1/2 cup baking soda into the opening and let it sit for a few moments. Combine 1 cup of vinegar with 1 cup boiling water and pour it over the baking soda.

Close the drain and allow the chemical reactions to work. 10 minutes later, pour another pot of boiling water down.

Repeat these steps as necessary, but this will generally do the trick the first time.
