However, there may be hope because this magical dream actually came true for one New Jersey family thanks to “The Cleaning Fairy.”

Beth Motzel and her husband never hired anyone to clean their Cherry Hill townhome in South Jersey.

That’s why Motzel’s husband was pretty alarmed when he realized that someone had entered his home while he was at work.

“(My husband) called me in a panic and he said that someone was here and they cleaned the whole place,” Beth Motzel told NJ.com.

Eventually, Motzel’s husband found a note and contact information written in Sharpie explaining that someone’s cleaner went into the wrong apartment.

That cleaner who went into the wrong apartment was Louis Angelino III.

Angelino posted a TikTok video explaining how the mixup occurred.

That video ended up going viral. Angelino, who works at Joe Canal’s liquor store and cleans his friends’ houses on the side for extra money, and was hired to clean the house of a co-worker of one of his friends.

He was texted the address and told that the key was under the mat.

But Angelino accidentally wrote down the wrong address which was Motzel’s townhouse which also just happened to have a key under the mat.

The house he was supposed to go to was 277, he wrote down 227. So, he spent two and a half hours cleaning the wrong townhouse from top to bottom.

He even fed the cats and gave them some love before he was about to leave.

That’s when he got a call from his client asking where he was.

“Are you here, did you come clean today?” the client asked.

“And I was like, ‘Yeah, I came and cleaned. I’m sitting in your living room right now. I’m playing with your cat,” Angelino told Inside Edition.

But his client didn’t have a cat and that’s when Angelino knew he was in the wrong house.

“In that moment, I froze. My heart dropped. I was just like, ‘Where am I right now? What is going on?’”

Eventually, Angelino reached out to apologize for the mixup.

Motzel said she felt bad knowing her house was in such bad shape since they were renovating.

She told him that he had the job if she was ever in need of a cleaner.

Angelino is hoping that his viral TikTok video will help drum up some business now that he’s officially calling himself “The Cleaning Fairy.”

“That’s 100% the best name for me. I mean, the Tooth Fairy… leaves you money under your pillow and after she takes your teeth away. Well, I break into your apartment and I clean your apartment,” he said, joking.

So, far he’s gotten some donations and a few calls for cleaning jobs.

While some on TikTok felt bad that he didn’t get paid for the hours he spent cleaning Motzel’s home, he said he was just glad no one called the cops on him for breaking into someone’s apartment.
