We’re all about adopting animals here at Shareably, and learning that 2.7 million cats go unadopted breaks our hearts.
With that in mind, a Comedian/Artist named Obvious Plant (who makes funny signs and posts them in public spaces) has decided to help his local Los Angeles animal shelter by discretely putting up signs about the cats they have waiting for a new home.
For more information on these cats, or any new cats in their adoption center, check out Sante D’Or Adoption Center! Here are some of our favorite signs!
Delores is looking for the perfect person to help her get back to her original form. Apparently, a warlock’s curse transformed her from into a cat. Please save her!
Dinky doesn’t have time for your nonsense. Don’t talk to her in a baby voice – she’s 36 in cat years so please do not!
Leche has some strong opinions, on top of being super cuddly. That being said, she does like to be a social cat – so please adopt her!
Honey is fighting back against the tyranny of birds dominating the sky. Honey, it would be great if you could take care of al of the pigeons that fly around and bother us!
Lola will not deal with time travel. She’s a bit of a diva, but her charm is impossible to resist! And we don’t like 15th century feudal Japan either. Afterward, it was not that bad, however.
People on Twitter loves what he did.

While these photos and “fake” personalities are quite amusing, it calls attention to a wider issue. These cats are homeless without owners to take care of them, and it should not require amusing photos and personalities to get them adopted.
