If you have pets at home, carry them in your arms and give them a sweet hug. You’ll want to after seeing this cat snuggle up to three Golden Retrievers. You read that right.
Three golden pillows are better than none.
This adorable video posted by Viral Paws has over two million views and we can see why. It starts off with a camera following this cat walking towards the snoozing Goldens. This kitty then proceeds to clamber on the already full sleeping mattress and squeezes in between two of the pups. One even wakes up and with a sleepy face, seems to acknowledge the presence of his feline friend.
The two other pups don’t stir as the cat snuggles in with them for snooze time.
It doesn’t stop there. The cat finds his space and as if to thank the half-awake Golden, the sweet kitty buries his face in to the pup’s cheek and then moves to position himself by the Golden’s head. A snuggle sniff and a kiss for you!
It’s a snugglefest that’s just brimming with cuteness.
There’s no need for self quarantine and isolation for moments like these.
Now one can’t help but wonder if there’s only one sleeping mattress in the room? Surely there’s more. Unless of course they really look for each other’s warmth and company. In which case, we’re not complaining. Neither are the viewers.

The Golden Retriever is well known to develop friendships with cats.
There are a multitude of videos between this gorgeous breed and cats. They contradict everything humans thought they knew about the cat-dog rivalry. And these guys are following that trend. It’s genuinely a golden friendship.
This affectionate kitty can’t seem to stop kissing her furry friends.
These guys are all about that love and even though it’s clear to see other available spots for sleeping, they still choose to bunk together. There’s even a moment where the cat is already napping with his 2 buddies when the third pup arrives.
This Golden good boy seemed to tiptoe (tip-paw?) in between his friends and gently positioned himself behind his cat friend without once disturbing the others. He looks at the camera with the most gentle eyes ever!
No animals were squished or squashed in the making of this video.
They just look so comfortable dozing off together it wouldn’t seem right to wake them up for anything. WE’re willing to bet they also eat and play together. They’re best buds!
There’s nothing cat-astrophic about this relationship as compared to the stereotypical fighting on television.
It’s such a paw-some friendship that humans could and should learn a thing or two from these fur buddies. They get along just fine and they share everything without complaints. All it takes is a kind heart.
