There are plenty of videos of crazy, complicated domino tracks. But this one has an adorable factor to it.
This one. Has. CATS.
Look at this majestic kitty.
While these cats are adorable, yes, they actually add to the impressiveness of this whole trick. They aren’t simply featured on the sides in the video for the viewer to look at instead of the dominos,
they’re incorporated into the tricks!
Check out how this little (ish) guy starts it off!
In this case, curiosity certainly did not kill the cat! Although he doesn’t look nearly as impressed with the trick as I did.
Like all good cat videos, it is an absolute gold mine of relateable reactions.
I think we all feel a little like this guy when all our dominos have fallen over.
Poor, sweet baby. I know he’s not actually sad but his face tells me otherwise!
Maybe even more impressive than just getting a cat to knock over the first domino is keeping the cats from ruining the trick.
They set up the domino track around this cat, who looks incredibly comfy in her bed, and somehow kept it up without her knocking it over!
She is incredibly interested in the falling dominos though.
They catch her a few times throughout the video, lounging around. Is it possible for a video to make you both amazed and really sleepy at the same time? These relaxing felines just seem to have that effect on me.
On a side note, I’m blown away by the sheer number of dominos these people own.
They have so many dominos, that they use some purely for decoration.
As the dominos fall, we reach what is in my mind, the best part. I cannot even begin to fathom how many attempts this must have taken. It is a combination of luck and no doubt, patience.
The dominos reach a plate with some cat food on it, and stop.
On the other side of the plate stands two dominos, just waiting to topple over.
The cat licks up all the food, and gets oh so close to the domino tower…
But the dominos do not fall.
The cat lets out a stretch and a (truly adorable) mlem, a meal well deserved and well eaten.
Of course, you can always count on cats for a few things. One of which is to go back for food that isn’t even there.
With a stroke of luck, this kitty knocked over the dominos with a second chance.
They really know how to build suspense. I was waiting with baited breath the whole time!
And they continue to increase the complexity of the tricks.
I can’t believe how well behaved these cats are that they can be placed so close to the mechanisms without messing anything up.
One of the last stops for the dominos brings it all together with some necessary cat intervention (I will always love a cat who knows how to ring a bell) and a domino track leading up a small set of domino stairs.
Pulling this off must have taken so much planning that had to go perfectly.
