Bus Driver Breaks Rules And Let's Stray Dogs On The Bus During Thunderstorm
The city doesn't allow animals onto public transportation. But when a bus driver saw stray dogs freezing in the middle of a thunderstorm, he knew he had to break the rules to help them.

The sound of thunder and heavy rain with flashes of blinding bright light will send any sweet furry pet to hide for cover under couches, blankets, tables or shiver with fear in our arms. Thunderstorms are terrifying for most animals; especially for those who are stranded on the streets. They don’t have a warm spot in a cozy house to snuggle up against. They’re stuck in the cold hard streets with nothing but the pitter-patter of raindrops soaked in their coat of fur. It’s a heartbreaking sight to see.

The city of Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina, was being hit with a torrential thunderstorm. When a local bus driver saw two stranded dogs drenched in cold rain water, shivering in fear, he did what any human being with a kind heart would do. He provided them with shelter.

In the city of Buenos Aires, everyone knows that the rules and regulations of Buenos Aires’ buses do not allow any animals on board. However, this did not stop the kind bus driver from protecting the scared strays from the thunderstorm.

Passengers snapped a few photos of the dogs and posted them on their social media accounts asking if anyone was interested in taking them in.

The bus driver’s act of kindness soon spread to management, who released a statement reiterating their very strict ‘no animals’ policy, but under this circumstance, they support what the driver did.

After all, how can you not help our adorable furry friends? We’re thankful for the sweet soul of this bus driver. We’re not sure what happened to these dogs after the thunderstorm but hopefully, a family has taken them in.

Here at Shareably, we urge you to adopt a pet at your local shelter in order to keep our furry friends off the streets where they can be safe, warm and filled with love.
