When you have pets, it’s your goal to keep them comfortable, healthy, and happy. These animals that you own are already part of your life not just as pets but as loved ones too. They are with you in good times and even during challenging times. Their presence just makes your whole life way better.
Just like Bogart the bulldog who is there for his owners during lockdown.
This adorable dog is from Gråsten, Denmark with his owners, Ranveig and Claus Levinsen alongside his bulldog mama Winston.
Bogart is very close to his owner and most of their photos online will show you glimpses of what they usually do. Their owner loves to cuddle with him.
They have this cute habit…
These dogs love to poke their heads out of a garden fence through two separate holes. It’s probably because they want to see what’s going on outside their yard.
Ranveig described her adorable pet as she spoke to Bored Panda. Among Winston’s eight puppies, they decided to keep Bogart, and ever since that day, they’ve become really close.
“He (Bogart) is a 4-year-old English Bulldog—we have his mother, Winston (she doesn’t care about the male name), and we decided that she should have puppies. […] She [had] 8, and we kept Bogart—he was the smallest and totally cute,” she said.
The loving owners decided to paint miniature outfits outside their fence’s holes where Bogart watches everything that’s happening in the street. It made it look like Bogart is really wearing a costume every time he does his hobby.
The cute painted outfit and Bogart’s lovable face made him an internet sensation!
A video of him poking his head out of the hole with his adorable outfit has been making rounds online. It attracted not only thousands but millions of people – 5 million to be exact! Yes, that huge! 71,000 people even shared the video! Well, who wouldn’t love to see Bogart in his creative costume?
If you are feeling a bit lonely while driving on the road and you see this precious pooch – it will surely brighten up your day. The video says it all, right? You can hear the people laughing while filming the cute bulldog that is obviously clueless that he is ‘wearing’ a costume.
Thanks to the person behind this cute thing!
That is Bogart’s human best friend, Ranveig. She shared why they came up with this brilliant idea. Her inspiration? Those face-in-hole boards that you can find in amusement parks.
“We are living close to a walking path, so many people pass by every day, and the dogs are just so curious. To prevent them from skipping the fence, we made the holes, but even if it was funny to see them from the other side, I just thought it would look even [funnier] if we painted something.” She added, “You know, like in amusement parks where you can have your photo taken in these kind of holes,” she stated.
It turns out that this is also essential to Bogart’s socialization. Dog Time explains why socialization is important for bulldogs especially the young ones. It “helps ensure that your Bulldog puppy grows up to be a well-rounded dog.”
For sure Bogart is very happy that he gets to see many things whenever he pokes his head out from their fence. If it’s a treat for the people who see him in that cute costume, it is also for him. Undoubtedly, it is one of his favorite things to do.
Without him knowing, he has already made lots of people happy especially during these challenging times.
